Zainab Ahmed

Zainab is a third-year Physics undergraduate at UCL and an undergraduate student in the Breeze Lab. She spent the summer of 2026 learning about the lab’s research in masers, NMR, atomic physics and solid-state spin defects, alongside building spin-Hamiltonian models to develop her understanding of EPR.

Interesting fact: The same summer Zainab joined the Breeze Lab, she also started her first woodworking project — still a work in progress.
